Senior Supply Chain Manager
Location: Plymouth, Devon (on-site)
Salary: £17.00 per hour
Employment Type: Part-time

Drive transformative supply chain operations for our client, a leading healthcare organisation, by spearheading end-to-end logistics across multiple distribution channels. Lead strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs while managing a team of logistics and procurement professionals. Your expertise will be instrumental in building strategic supplier relationships and overseeing contract negotiations, ensuring the organisation's supply chain remains robust and competitive.

Core Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple distribution channels
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Manage and develop a team of logistics and procurement professionals
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and third-party logistics providers
• Oversee contract negotiations and SLA management
• Produce regular performance reports and present findings to senior leadership
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function

Required Expertise
• Demonstrable experience in a senior supply chain or logistics management role
• Deep understanding of procurement, inventory management, and distribution operations
• Excellent analytical and commercial skills
• Proficient in ERP and supply chain management systems

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent
• Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) certification or equivalent

Essential Experience

• Minimum 10 years in supply chain or logistics management within the healthcare industry
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
